Projects are the top level of the data hierarchy in Layer.
Using the spreadsheet analogy, Projects are your workbook, the home for all data related to one building or location. There is no limit to the number of projects you can have. You can think of Projects the same way you would organize your projects in the office. All the relevant information that needs to be associated together should be kept in the same project.
Projects are organized with Categories which consist of Elements and Fields. When you have a project setup that you want to reuse for other projects, save it as a Project Templates.
