To create a Project, click the “Create Project +” button in the top right corner of the Project Dashboard.

From there, you have three types of Projects you can create: from scratch, from a Layer Template, or from a Company Template.

1. Create a Project from Scratch

You will choose this option if you do not want to start your Project from a Layer Best Practice Template or from an existing Company Template.

To do this, click “Create Project from Scratch” then fill out the “Project Name” and “Project Location” fields and click “Save”. Your Project will be created.

2. Create a Project from a Layer Template

We have created Best Practice Templates for popular AECO workflows to get you started. These Templates provide you a basic framework that you can edit and customize with your project data.

Under the Layer Templates tab, click the Template you need. Fill out the “Project Name” and “Project Location” fields and click “Save”. Your Project will be created. You can delete or edit any of the data within this Template to make it your own.

3. Create a Project from a Company Template

You will choose this option if your company has previously saved Templates available.
