Set default values for fields

You can use Automations to automatically assign values to a Field of an Element at the moment of the Element’s creation. This can be helpful in case you want an Element to have a Field set to a certain value, for example a survey’s Status Field to be set as Draft when a survey Element is created.

To set up an Automation like that:

1. Choose the Trigger When an Element is Created

   

2. In the dropdown menu Select A Category choose the Room Survey Category.

3. Choose the Action Update an Element
